Exquisite Byzantine Icon Artistry
Presenting a rare and unique Byzantine icon made from solid sterling silver 925, crafted with meticulous attention to detail. This hand-painted, tarnish-free piece features:
- 24 carat gold hand decoration

- Hand decorated with 12 brilliant simulated red rubies for Her Holy Crown
It is an antique vintage icon representing Our Holy Lady and is well-known as the Icon of Panagia Kykkos, blessed on the original icon painted by St. Luke. This icon holds significance across Orthodox, Russian, Roman, Christian, and Catholic traditions.

Legend of Panagia Kykkos
In the Kykkos Monastery of Cyprus, there is the well-known icon of Panagia Eleousa (of Kykkos), renowned and respected throughout the Orthodox world. Painted by Apostle Luke just seven years after the Crucifixion and Resurrection of Jesus Christ, the icon's dramatic legend includes:
The Virgin Mary image was transferred by the Apostle himself to Egypt after the Death of the Virgin Mary. To save it from desecration by pirates, it was thrown into the sea and later rescued by Byzantine boats, who presented it to Emperor Alexios Komninos of Constantinople.
Governor Duke Manuel Voutomytis of Cyprus, during a hunting expedition, encountered a monk named Isaiah. An altercation occurred, resulting in Voutomytis developing an incurable disease, which could only be cured by the monk’s forgiveness. Eventually, the Virgin Mary instructed Isaiah to bring her image back to Cyprus, leading to further miraculous events.
Faberge Style Sanctity
By God’s intervention, the emperor's daughter fell ill, prompting the emperor to comply with their wish. The image, along with funding for a church, was sent to Cyprus. The Royal and Stavropygian Monastery was established by monk Isaiah using the emperor’s donations.
